Zurich Wine Tower

Europe’s tallest wine tower holding 3,840 bottles, standing at a staggering 15 metres is the centre piece of the new Radisson Blu Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland.

The wine tower is a steel framed, glass clad structure designed to act as a vertical temperature controlled wine cellar, operated in full view of the hotel guests. ‘Wine Angels’ equipped with flying harnesses perform acrobatic routines to music and automated lighting sequences as they ascend the tower to retrieve the wine bottles.
