Exhibitionism, the Rolling Stones depiction of their life and times, illustrated with film, music and a collection of iconic items from their 50-year career, was a very different project for us. It demanded both dramatic lighting for the more dynamic parts of the exhibition, but also the delicate and subtle illumination of the more typical elements of a gallery setting. White Light provided much of the equipment while GLP supplied a selection of small moving light fixtures for the finale of the exhibit – a 3D performance of the Stones Hyde Park concert from 2014. Pentagram designed the exhibition with film footage created by Finn Ross and Sam Pattinson’s treatment studio. Ileen Gallagher curated the exhibition while Patrick curated the stage design and live performance elements - including a faithful reproduction of a typical backstage setting. The project was produced and promoted by Australian group iES, led by the tireless and enthusiastic Tony and Thea Cochrane. The exhibition travels to New York at the end of the summer.
