Patrick Woodroffe – Partner
Over the last forty years Patrick Woodroffe has produced the lighting designs for a who's who of well-known performers and artists around the world. His work has covered the fields of contemporary and classical music, opera and musical theatre, film and TV, as well as architecture and site-specific installations. He has also played an intrinsic role in the success of lighting as both a craft and a business as it has blossomed from a garage industry in the mid Seventies to the enormously successful and important position it holds today.
Adam Bassett – Partner
Adam trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with honors in 2000. In 2004 he started his own design practice focusing on theatrical productions, dance, large-scale special events and architecture alongside his continued collaborations with Patrick. In 2013, Adam joined Patrick Woodroffe in their new entity Woodroffe Bassett Design where he continues to design, direct and produce a wide variety of lighting projects.
Miriam Bull – Studio / Design Associate
Miriam studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where she gained a degree in Theatre & Performance Technology. After graduating in 2006 she worked as a freelance technician at the Millfield and Criterion Theatres before joining Adam & Patrick as a design assistant in 2007. Miriam has worked on a huge array of projects both in the UK and internationally, is proficient in numerous aspects of lighting design and with extensive CAD experience Miriam is an important member of our team.
Terry Cook – Project / Design Associate
With an extensive production and technical background Terry brings a huge wealth of expertise to our team, bridging design with the many technical and logistical aspects of our work. Over the past 10 years Terry has been responsible for delivering many successful projects in the UK, America and China. Prior to joining Adam full time in 2011, Terry worked with The Generating Company as an events producer and production manager, and most notably produced ‘Aqua’ in China, the world’s largest water show, an ambitious two-year endeavor.
